The aim of Klasse Kuratieren is to develop an exhibition with a school class, giving the pupils an insight into various professions in an artistic/museum context and allowing them to try them out. Organised as project lessons lasting several weeks, workshops are held every three weeks and build on each other. There is a vernissage at the end.

Questions relating to "art", "museum/art gallery" and "mediation/publicity" form the basis of the workshops. During dialogue-based tours of the exhibitions and the premises of the Löwenbräu site, questions, working methods and tools are collected and discussed in plenary sessions. This is followed by practical testing in the studio of the Kunsthalle Zürich.

The Curating Class project has been carried out three times. 2020 with a 3rd/4th class, 2022 with a 1st secondary school and 2024 with a 5th class.
